ENSURE-6G: The Evolution of Security and Privacy in 6G Networks

The ENSURE-6G project sits at the intersection of three areas: Communication Networks, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. The project aims to design, implement, validate, and prototype innovative security and privacy solutions that will prevent, detect, respond, and mitigate both physical and cyber threats and attacks in 6G networks, incorporating AI integration. At Özyeğin University, we focused our work on this project on addressing the challenges of privacy, ethics, and justice in AI/ML-enabled 6G. We prioritize identifying legal aspects, including regulations such as the GDPR, the AI Act, the Data Act, and the Data Governance Act within the EU framework, and are developing methods to ensure regulatory compliance.
