It carries out studies in the fields of medical robotics, intelligent control systems, cognitive robotics, humanoid robots, and intelligent mobile machines. It has different robots such as TurtleBot (traveler), DARwin-OP (humanoid), AR.Drone (flying), Kuka KR6 (industrial robot arm), and Gifu Hand-III (16-degree-of-freedom humanoid hand robot), as well as a 3D projector to be used for 3D robot simulation and virtual reality studies, and the OptiTrack - high-speed motion tracking system that allows tracking human movements.
